As a guide, you’ll have the opportunity to lead our guests on amazing adventures, from kayaking through stunning fjords to hiking some of the most breathtaking trails in Gros Morne National Park. You’ll get to work with a team of like-minded individuals who share your passion for the outdoors and enjoy the thrill of exploration. But that’s not all! As a shop attendant, you’ll have the chance to interact with guests and help them plan their perfect adventure, whether it’s a guided hike, a stand up paddle board tour, or a gourmet picnic. And as a guide trainee, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from the best and become a seasoned guide yourself.

Excellent Pay
Guides are paid a competitive hourly rate. Rate is commensurate to level of experience, training and keep 100% of gratuity earned
Leading groups on half day, full day and overnight adventures like sea kayaking, stand up paddle board, day hiking, backcountry hut hiking, zodiac boat and fishing tours while providing them with a safe, fun, and interactive experience.
Understand and apply learned risk assessment strategies with respect to marine hazards, group dynamics and weather in different environments.
Working towards or possessing a degree or diploma in tourism, hospitality, outdoor recreation or any past experience or interest in adventure tourism

2023 Positions
Kayak and S.U.P Guide
Experienced and able to lead kayak & stand up paddle board tours and other marine operations at our waterfront location on Bonne Bay. Guides will be responsible for the organization and delivery of all aquatic programs and oversee trainee guides they will be working with. Guides must be able to provide a quality and fun experience for guests and deliver safety presentations and customer care.
Kayak and S.U.P Guide Trainee
Energetic and eager to learn, sea kayak trainee guides provide paddle support during tours, as well as assisting rental operations in the kayak shack at our waterfront location on Bonne Bay. kayak guide trainees will be learn first hand how to organize and deliver aquatic programming to guests and is an excellent position for someone looking to get started in the adventure tourism industry
Kayak Shack Attendant
We are recruiting for a kayak shack attendant for our waterfront location on Bonne Bay. Our season runs from mid-May to early October, with training beginning in May. Kayak shack attendants spend the majority of time working in our dock and kayak area but often are trained to assist guiding kayak or stand up paddle board tours tours when needed. This is also an excellent position for someone looking to get started in the adventure tourism industry
Hiking Guide
We are seeking a safety oriented Hiking Guide with a passion for the outdoors join our team this season. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people. This position allows you to experiencing the incredible terrain in Gros Morne National Park and showcase it to our guests. Hiking guides often help out with kayak tours and boat tours making your days always exciting and adventure packed.
Chef / Food Tour Guide
Our mission is to connect curious travellers with unique food and people in a way that helps showcase our area and culture. We proudly partner with local family-run farms and have our own green house and garden on site. We believe in ethical and sustainable tourism and are passionate about helping our guests feel like locals. The chef and culinary guide will be in charge of a small cafe and our unique food tour options. This position will help care for our greenhouse and gardens that supply our shop with fresh produce. This is an excellent position for someone interested in food and exploring it in new ways.
Child Care / Live in Nanny
We are looking for an energetic, caring individual to care for our 1 year old daughter, Adelaide and her big sister Gemmi, the Bernese mountain dog. These two are like peas in a pod, friendly, very fun and easy to care for. This job would also entail helping out around site, house and making runs to collect stock and supplies. For a live in applicants this position includes private accommodations all utilities and household supplies
