Leading groups on half day, full day & overnight adventures in sea kayaking, stand up paddle board, day hiking, backcountry hut hiking, zodiac boat, fishing tours and ATV tours while providing a safe, fun, and interactive experience.
Understand and apply learned risk assessment strategies with respect to marine hazards, group dynamics and weather in different and sometimes hostile environments.
Working towards or possessing a degree or diploma in tourism, hospitality, outdoor recreation or any past experience or interest in adventure tourism
Positive, energetic & engaging adventurous attitude toward other guides and guests
An opportunity to play & work in Gros Morne National Park with spectacular places to explore, both on and off the clock
Accommodations at our facility in Gros Morne National Park. This includes electricity, water, high speed internet etc
Professional development and excellent training opportunities such as boating safety, kayak instruction, guide training and more
Access to kayaks & kayak training, paddle boards, fat bikes & More including boat shuttles to remote camping areas
End of season bonus will be paid to all guides that finish out the busy season strong & complete their contracts
Guides are paid a competitive hourly rate. Rate is commensurate to level of experience, training and keep 100% of gratuity earned
